CompuThon respects your privacy. CompuThon does not sell, rent, or loan any identifiable information regarding its customers (schools/groups or any individuals associated with a particular school/group) to any third party. Any information you give us is held with the utmost care and security and will not be used in ways to which you have not consented.

CompuThon will not collect any personal information about individuals except when specifically and knowingly provided by such individuals. Examples of such information are: name, school, group or organization name, school, group or organization information or postal address, e-mail address, phone number, user id, password, past fundraising experiences, and product commentary.

User I.D.s and passwords are used to give you member access to certain areas of Web site, and to help process customer requests and inquiries. School and organization information is used to coordinate requested fundraising efforts with those particular organizations. Product commentary, marketing feedback, and customer feedback is used to improve our site, product offerings, and services.

All user provided information is treated the same regardless of the national residency of the user providing said information.

Information Sharing:
Any identifiable information collected by CompuThon on this site is not shared with corporate affiliates that may operate under a different privacy notice.

CompuThon may share non-personal aggregate or summary information regarding its customers with partners or other third parties, but CompuThon does not sell or share any information at the individual customer level.

CompuThon uses third party suppliers and/or shippers to deliver your fundraising order(s) to you. CompuThon only provides enough information to suppliers and/or shippers to permit suppliers and/or shippers to fulfill your order. In addition, CompuThon notifies all its suppliers and/or shippers, that the information supplied should not be used for any other purpose except to fulfill the order and that all customer information provided herein is the sole property of CompuThon, and is provided to the supplier for the sole express purpose of fulfilling this order. CompuThon's customer information may not be used for any other purpose, including, but not limited to, the use of such information for marketing by the supplier or any subsequent party.

Children's Online Privacy Protection:
No part of CompuThon Web site is designed to attract children, nor do we ever knowingly collect information from individuals known to be children. If you are providing information on behalf of a child, it is recommended that you only use the child's parent or guardian's e-mail address and that you always have the permission of that child's parent or guardian.

How does CompuThon protect customer information?
When you place orders or access your account information, we offer the use of a secure server that encrypts all your personal information before it is sent to us to prevent unauthorized access to your information. To secure your information and prevent unauthorized access, all sensitive information, such as credit card numbers or check numbers, is only received and transmitted online through encrypted order forms.

Cookies:
CompuThon uses a feature of your Internet Web browser called a "cookie" to assign a unique identification to your computer. Cookies are files that your Web browser places on your computer's hard drive. CompuThon creates and then uses these cookie files to track your clicks as you go through CompuThon Web site.

CompuThon only uses cookies to keep track of items you put into your shopping cart, to tell us whether you have visited CompuThon previously, and to help us determine whether you came to CompuThon from a particular Internet link or banner advertisement.

Cookies cannot be used by CompuThon to retrieve any personal information about you unless you have previously purchased from or registered with CompuThon.  CompuThon does not and cannot use cookies to retrieve personal information about you from your computer unless you knowingly and willingly provided such information.

If CompuThon Privacy Policy Changes:
If we decide to change our privacy policy, we will post these changes here so that you will always know what information we gather, how we might use that information, and whether we will disclose it to anyone. Regardless of later changes, we will never use the data you provide under this current notice in a new way without first giving you an opportunity to opt-out or otherwise prevent any new use of information.

To better protect the integrity and security of your data, we will also take steps to verify identity before granting access or making corrections.
